Custom Lens Replacement (CLR) / Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)

Custom Lens Replacement is a procedure where Dr. Swanic replaces the aging lens of the eye with a clear, technologically advanced lens. It treats nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia – reducing or eliminating the need for readers and bifocals. It also prevents future cataract development, so there will be no need for cataract surgery down the road.

Monovision LASIK /Blended LASIK

Monovision LASIK works by correcting one eye for distance vision and the other eye for near vision. It is performed, like All-Laser Custom LASIK, but the treatment lets your eyes work together to help you see well, both near and far. Blended LASIK can reduce or eliminate your dependence on both readers and bifocals. Your eyes and brain quickly adjust, allowing you to see both near and far while using both eyes.
